About Artlore
A character reference portal built for artists, writers, and worldbuilders.
What is Artlore?
Artlore is a free platform where artists, writers, game masters, and worldbuilders can create and share detailed character reference sheets. Each character gets a unique link you can send directly to any artist you commission.
Why Artlore?
Commissioning art usually means hunting for scattered references across folders, DMs, and old documents. Artlore gives every character a permanent home: one clean, shareable page that artists can open instantly — no registration required to view.
What You Can Do
Detailed Profiles
Name, race, age, height, gender, pronouns, and a full description field for backstory and personality.
Color Palettes
Define your character's exact reference colors — skin tones, hair, eyes, outfit, and more. Click any swatch to copy the hex code.
Reference Galleries
Upload multiple artworks and designate one as the main showcase image. Browse with full lightbox navigation.
Privacy Control
Set each character as public (anyone with the link can view) or private (only you can see it).
Unique URLs
Every character gets a clean, shareable link like artlore.app/c/lyria — easy to share in DMs, commissions sheets, or anywhere.
Project Status
Artlore is actively in development. Discord authentication, persistent storage, image uploads, and more features are on the way. The current version uses mock data for demonstration.
Tech Stack
Built with Nuxt 4, Nuxt UI 4, and Tailwind CSS v4. Available in English, Portuguese, German, and Spanish.
